About Us
The Oregon Vietnamese Golf Association (OVGA) was established in 2009 by a group of friends with a shared passion and love for the game of golf. The non-profit organization located in Portland Oregon is open to any golfers with a Vietnamese cultural background. The organization aims to provide an avenue for its members to meet with other Vietnamese golfers in the community as well as making the experience enjoyable.
The OVGA is part of the nationally recognized Vietnamese Golf Association (VGA) and is identified as a local chapter. Each year, the OVGA holds numerous tournaments and club activities for its members as well as participating in activities hosted by the VGA (such as the VGA National Championship in Las Vegas held annually). The OVGA also gives back to the community by hosting many charitable events throughout the year.
